Viral Greek Salad

This recipe has been reposted so many times the original author is unknown, but I owe @brianna_lynn_d all the credit for bringing it into my life! I’ve made it at least 2x a week since she originally posted it, and love it for its simplicity. Few ingredients and a tart, simple dressing make it a lunchtime staple and something I never get tired of. 


Makes roughly 4 cups of chopped salad

  • 2 heads of romaine lettuce, thinly chopped 
  • 4 scallions, white parts sliced thinly
  • Handful of fresh dill
  • Block of feta cheese
  • ½ cup fresh lemon juice
  • ⅓ cup extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste 


  1. Add lettuce, scallions, dill, and feta in a large bowl
  2. Whisk lemon juice, olive oil, and salt and pepper in a bowl, tasting to adjust seasoning as needed
  3. Add dressing to large bowl and toss to combine
