Absolutely, all of our pieces are microwave, dishwasher, and oven safe up to 450° F. However, to avoid thermal shock (sudden temperature fluctuation which causes stress to the piece) do not place your pieces directly from the fridge into the oven, or vice versa.
Reactive glazes are the result of the natural firing process and glaze ingredients. Add something here on gorgeous and each one is unique.
Yes, our pieces are all made to withstand daily use, if there is a surface level scratch from a knife or a scrape from the unglazed underside of another piece, you can use a scouring powder (like barkeepers friend) and a Tawashi Brush to remove any of the superficial scratches.
Yes! All of our stoneware is lead and cadmium free ensuring it is food safe. You can read our testing reports here.
Once you place your order you will receive an order confirmation email. Once your items ship you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number.

Everything ships from our warehouse in South Florida within 3-5 business days for in-stock items. Items that are pre-order only will be marked with their own timeline on the product page.
All of our pieces are made in Portugal and are hand-finished and hand-glazed resulting in slight variations across shape and glaze.
No, we do not ship internationally or to Hawaii or Alaska.

We do not offer gift wrapping but we do include gift notes, just select the “gift note” button and write your message and we will include the note with the order.
Once you place your order you will receive a confirmation. Then, upon shipment, you will receive a follow-up email with a tracking number that you can use to track the shipment.
You can reach out to us at hello@sojournpottery.com within 30 days and we will assist you in returning and exchanging your pieces.
We will absolutely replace your broken item. Fill out our broken order form, and reach out to us at hello@sojournpottery.com with images of the broken piece(s) and we will send a replacement.
